Select a stone, then design a shape or choose one of our templates, to create a bi-level pendant with a cabochon. Space between the levels allows for choice of neck wear and the option to change it from leather, to chain, or wire.

Students will Learn:

Sawing negative space, bezel setting, riveting, texturing, and patina skills.

Round Nose, Chain Nose, Flat Nose Pliers

Wire Cutters

Work Surface

Bench Block or Anvil

Favourite small hammer

Torch and Fuel

Soldering board

Soldering pick

Insulated cross locking tweezers

Metal shears

Jeweller’s saw

Bees Wax

V-slot bench pin

2/0 or 3/0 saw blades


Tools that will be shared (please bring your own if you have them)

Micro motor, dremel type tool that will hold a 3/32 (2.44mm) mandrel

Tube cutting jig or pliers

Small vise to hold jig

1.5mm hole punch

Kit includes:

Copper, brass, or nickel sheet; rivet materials; handout; cabochon; consumables.
